Jess Dineen | Managing Director
Having grown up in the Australian Tourism Industry, Jessica has expertise not only in customer relations and sales but also in leadership, destination marketing, project management and creating and maintaining teamwork.
With a pivotal role in the family business of Holiday Park Management, Jessica has been schooled and resided in both coastal and remote locations around Australia. From a young age, Jessica has been involved in top tier management in several large and diverse award-winning Holiday Parks.
“My commitment to industry and personal excellence, matched by my eagerness to meet and better any challenge, ensures my effectiveness in continually addressing the needs of the business, staff and clients whilst teaching and maintaining an exceptional model in customer service”.
Jessica has a Business Degree specialising in International Tourism which has given her a platform into sales and marketing and is coupled with her inherent skills in planning, training, scheduling and optimisation.
Jessica has a passion for public speaking and has recently presented on International Markets at the 2019 Caravanning Queensland industry conference.
Between 2018 – 2020, as part of the Queensland Government Young Tourism Leader program, Jessica presented at numerous High Schools, Tafes and Universities on the career opportunities available within the Queensland Tourism Industry. Her talks are relatable, conversational and ‘real’ which has resulted in several students seeking mentorship and guidance from Jessica on an ongoing basis.

John Dineen | Director
John was born in Innisfail, Far North Queensland and entered tourism by his involvement with building and construction in the early development days of Cairns and Port Douglas in the late 1980’s. He was mentored by many iconic leaders in tourism in far North Queensland.
John has been Managing Director of Dineen Tourism Management since 1985.
John has a strong history of developing and transforming Tourism Accommodation into successful enterprises through a combination of improvements, promotions and robust management.
John has been a staunch supporter of the Caravan Industry and has presented at the various National Caravan and Camping Shows since 1999. Under his direction, his properties have been the recipients of multiple awards.
John has held the following office:
Councillor of the Douglas Shire in Far North Queensland
President (founding member) of Port Douglas and Cairns Tourism Association
President (founding member) Sydney’s Northern Beaches Tourism Association
Director of a Public Company – RV Resorts Australia.
As a Builder and Developer, John was responsible for many major Tourism Developments.
Additionally, he has represented products with other key operators amongst major Tourism bodies in both National and International arenas.

Karen Dineen | Director
Karen has been a Director of Dineen Tourism Management for 26 years and is deeply involved in the business. Karen acts as Dineen Tourism Management National Manager, leading the operational, human resources and systems management elements of the business.
Karen is an industry specialist and has managed teams in some of Australia’s highest profile tourist organisations including Sheraton Mirage and Quicksilver Connections as well as all parks and consultation contracts and tenders undertaken.
Karen’s skill base is operational efficiency, risk management and compliance insurance. Her belief in mentoring and training young and new talent in the industry is paramount and a reason for the longevity and sustainability of her employees.
